Divisions of Bangladesh
There are 7 Divisions of Bangladesh.
The administration of Bangladesh is divided into seven major regions called divisions . Each
division is named after the major city within its jurisdiction that also serves as the administrative headquarters of that division. Each division is further split into several districts which are then further sub-divided into Upazilas.
7 Divisions of Bangladesh are:
1. Barisal Division (বরিশাল)
2. Chittagong Division (চট্টগ্রাম)
3. Dhaka Division (ঢাকা) [Capital of Bangladesh]
4. Khulna Division (খুলনা)
5. Rajshahi Division (রাজশাহী)
